Hearty Full Breakfast - Served from 8 to 9:30 a.m.
One of the highlights of our day is serving a hearty breakfast to our guests fireside in our dining room or on our outdoor wrap-around front porch (weather permitting).
All Primrose Inn breakfasts includes the following:
A "Savory" entree such as:
- Eggs Florentine
- Smoked Ham and Gouda Cheese "Strata"
- Chili Relleno "Torta"
Or a "Sweet" entree served with Maine maple syrup such as:
- Orange French Toast
- Buttermilk Pancakes with fresh Maine blueberries
- Fluffy Belgium Waffles
The entrees are served with the following additional items:
- A side dish such as low-fat Canadian bacon, oven-baked Dijon potatoes or spicy cornbread pudding
- Fresh-baked items such as blueberry muffins or sour cream coffee cake
- Fruit desserts such as warm apple crisp or fresh honeydew melon
- Low-fat granola and other cereals
- English muffins, bagels and toasting breads
- 100% pure Florida squeezed orange juice
- Fresh-brewed coffee from Carrabassett Coffee, a Maine specialty roaster, and an assortment of teas from Twinings of London
"Afternoon Tea" - Served from 4 to 6 p.m.
Our "Afternoon Tea," featuring an assortment of freshly baked treats from the Primrose Inn's kitchen, is very popular with our guests and many plan their day around returning to the inn to relax and enjoy it before dinner.
Afternoon Tea includes:
- An assortment of teas from Twinings of London
- A special coffee roast from Carrabassett Coffee, a Maine specialty roaster
- Lemonade, Maine apple cider and fresh-brewed iced tea
- Fresh-baked treats such as Almond Cream Cheese Cake, Double-Fudge Brownies, and Maine Blueberry Pie
- Fresh baked cookies
